The game list is out of date, I know. It will be updated after Unlimited Night though. But to recap, we have In The Groove, four Fabi Jitz tables, and should be getting more MAME emulators soon. Unfortunately, Drumania and Guitar Freaks will not be updated to V right now, but it does not mean the possibility of an upgrade has been completely ruled out. Finally, Unlimited Night is scheduled for April 2, 2005. More information is located in the events section.

Beatmania IIDX RED is now at Orbit! The machine is fully functional now. In addition to the actual upgrades, we also recieved displays and posters, which will be the prize in a tournament we are planning to hold. Check back for more information on the tournament. We also have Half-Life 2 installed on a few computers, which includes Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: Source.

We have some exciting things happening at Orbit in the following weeks. First of all, our opinion form is available at the counter for customers. Please feel free to fill one out. Capcom Fighting Jam has been installed, and the Drumania machine has been fixed. DDR has now been moved beside Initial D machine. There will be another DDR machine coming in, as well as an Initial D version 3 English cabinet. These machines will be replacing Mazan and Virtual On. Hopefully, these changes will occur in the next 24 hours. Next Tuesday, we have plans to move in Time Crisis 3, Drumania 4th Mix, virtua Cop 3, Silent Scoope EX, OutRun 2, and Tokyo Cop. The games being moved out are Biohazard, Punchmania, and Keyboardmania. Finally, we hope to bring in three Tekken 5 machines and a Beatmania IIDX Red machine before the next weekend. We also plan to replace Derby Owners Club with more Jitz tables.

Hopefully, this is enough incentive for you to attend our next Unlimited Night, which is on December 18, 2004. Please read the events page for more details.

Also, the Battle Gear 3 tournament is underway, with updates as to who has the fastest times at the moment. Check the events section or the forums for the current top five leaders of the tournament.

Those who are looking for an Unlimited Night, planning is in the works, but look for it to be on Febuary 21st, so just keep your patience a bit longer.

Merry Christmas to all of you people out there from Orbit Entertainment! And what's Christmas without a few gifts?

First of all, to the music community, we give you Drumania 9th Mix and guitar Freaks 10th Mix. Enjoy! To the racing community, we have the Battle Gear 3 tournament to ocupy your minds with. Finally, a Derby Owners Club tournament is in the making. Please see the posters in Orbit for more details.

Now, to those who are wondering why there were so many people around the DDR machine on December 20th, well, that was the Eversnow DDR tournament. Results will be posted once we get them in. Happy Holidays!

Thursday, December 4, 2003

Well, if you haven't noticed, we have four Battle Gear 3 machines, two of which have access to the Internet for Internet Rankings. Special thanks to Benton Yao, who provided us with a link to an informative site on Battle Gear 3 for players in Canada.

Word is that many people wants Orbit to get Drumania9 and Guitar Freaks 10, as well as F-Zero AX. If enough interest is shown and a machine with a reasonable price tag is found, it may be possible.

There is also a DDR tournament coming up in December 20, but spaces are filled. Check back for more information.

Tuesday, November 25, 2003

Battle Gear 3 is now at Orbit! This version of Battle Gear features an Internet ranking, as well as your own unique key, so you may customize a car to your liking. Drop by to check out this latest addition!

Unfortunely, no word regarding Unlimited Night yet, but note that Battle Gear 3 and Derby Owners Club will not be on free play. There has been talk about an Unlimited Night speicifically for Derby Owners Club players, but nothing confirmed. We'll keep you posted.

Sunday, November 23, 2003

The Derby Owners Club machines seem to be doing quite well, and the netcafe has a total of twelve computers now. Anyways, the netcafe section is up, which include what foodage we have here at Orbit.

No word on the next Unlimited Night, but we will try to keep you posted. Take note that Derby Owners Club will not be on free play during Unlimited Night. And before I forget, Battle Gear 3 is coming soon!

Monday, November 17, 2003

Derby Owners Club is now in! Unfortunely, we had to sacrifice three banks of computers to make room for them, so the netcafe only has ten computers for customer use. But from what was observed, Derby Owners Club seems to have gone off a successful start. If you were one of the lucky ones to get a coupon for a free card, consider yourself lucky, as each card costs quite a bit.

Website wise, the links pages is now up, assuming the upload went through.

Saturday, November 8, 2003

The new layout is up, altough the supporting pages aren't necessarily uploaded yet. I believe that the netcafe, events, links, and contact pages are not up at the time of this writing, so avoid clicking them.

Now onto the more important items. As you know, Unlimited Night is tonight. Beatmania IIDX 8th Style is back at two tokens per game at Orbit, and Battle Gear 3 should be in within the week. We are also removing all but twelve computers to make room for eight Derby Owners Clubmachines soon. Drop by to check out the latest additions some day.

Saturday, November 1, 2003

Next Unlimited Night date is set for Saturday, November 8, 2003 from 8PM until 1AM. Costs are the same, being $10 for VIP members and $15 for everyone else. Remember that VIP members get a free pop, and all games including Initial D will be set to free play.

As for the contents of the site, a better version is underway.

Friday, September 5, 2003

Okay, the Games section as well as the Netcafe section are vastly out of date now. But to recap, Dance Dance Revolution is now only two tokens, and Beatmania has been moved to Waterloo Campus Cove. However, Time Crisis 3 is in, and a new Half-Life mode, The Specialist, has been installed on computers 22 and 23.

Also, there are several unique new pricings for the netcafe. First of all, eveyr Friday the cost per hour is down to $1.00 per hour. Any other day after 9:00PM, a flat rate of $6.00 applies.

Saturday, July 12, 2003

Alright, made a few updates to the site...okay, just added the Unlimited Night information on it. Anyways, there's going to be more updates after UN, because I need to get some information directly from Orbit, and the best way is on UN, so yeah. Hope to see y'all there!

Tuesday, May 13, 2003

Well, guess what people, Unlimited Night is back! On Saturday, May 17, 2003 from 8:00PM to 1:00AM, you can play all the games you want for only $15.00. If you don't want to pay that much, please visit our forum and register for a coupon, and you only have to pay $10.00 to enter. If you have a VIP membership from Orbit, you don't need a coupon, and you only need to pay $5.00. Please remember to bring your VIP card though. Happy gaming to all!

Wednesday, April 9, 2003

As bruce stated in our Announcement forum, there will be no further Unlimited Nights or any other events taking place at Orbit until the SARS issue has been resolved. This is mainly to help prevent the spread of the disease, and we apoligize to those that were looking forward to the VIP only Unlimited Night coming up this April. We will inform you when events will proceed as schedule.

Saturday, April 5, 2003

If you remember, the old site wasn't exactly kept up to date all the time, se we've revamped the entire thing when we decided to update. But given the nature of starting from stratch, most of the old data was lost, especially in the games section. The web team will try to get the information up ASAP.

We also would like to apoligize for the cancellation of Unlimited Night at such short notice. If there are any changes with furthur events, we will post it up when we are notified.

Monday, July 8, 2002

Had to format my hard drive, so I pretty much lost everything, including all my VO stuff. At least I made a backup copy of this and was able to retrive some other stuff. Anyways,I hope I can get most, if not all the pictures of the games at Orbit by the end of the month. Which reminds me, how's going to Unlimited Night? I'm definately going. I'll be the guy with the JVC camcorder and the VO:OM shirt, hard to miss.

For those that are wondering where the redemption games are, they've been moved to Market Village to a place called DreamLand. My guess is they're making Orbit a more "teen" oriented place and DreamLand a more "child" oriented place, but I could be wrong. And to all you people in the CS tournament, good luck at that!

Saturday, June 22, 2002

Yay, with the end of exams, I can concentrate on other things now. I still don't have PhotoShop yet, but I can do the other stuff, such as refine the other sections and make a few unseen changes. Note that I still don't have enough information to finish up the Netcafe section, so that option has been removed for now. I'll try to get some pictures of each game up so you can see what they look like sometime after the next UN.

Oh yeah, before I forget, ckeck out the Counter-Strike tournament that Orbit is having in the Events section. Well, I'm gone for now again.

Sunday, June 9, 2002

Okay, I finally got around to making a skeleton of sorts of the Orbit site. I intend to add a few dozen things, such as more detailed description of the games, compile a bunch of links, and so on. Several things that will change are the menu, as well as constant updates to games, information on the NetCafe, and events. Take note that the NetCafe and Events sections are not up yet, but I'll try to get something on them as soon as I can. If you have visited the TorVOC site, you might notce that they are both virtually the same in structure. Just a little tidbit for you all to observe.
